        Sussex’s Neil Smith [pictured] helped the Pelhams top the Premier Division after week two by hitting a maximum to beat the Con Club A 6-3,  a further 180 from  team mate Pete Crossley proved too strong for the Blues.    Crossley also struck a 100 finish, while Warren Grantham hit a consolation 180..

       The match of the night saw the Diamonds hosting the defending Champions Charcoal Burner, and in an exciting game which went to the wire, it was Diamonds skipper Colin Whiley who hit the winning double to edge out Ron Clarke 3-2, and a 5-4 victory.    The Burners James Greenfield hit the sole maximum, but big finishes from Clarke 138, Paul Trivass 136, and a 112 from Martin Burchell, made for excellent viewing..

       Three Bridges A, put behind them the previous weeks whitewash, to win their first ever Premier Division match 5-4 against Longley C..

       The Conservative Club, are proving to be the team to beat in the A Division, as they made it two wins on the bounce when defeating APV 6-3, but hot on their heels are the Rebels who narrowly beat the Guns & Roses 5-4..     Labour Blasers beat the Emerald Rebels comfortably 7-2 to open their win account,  while the Dingles also made it two straight wins, when beating Bridges, for whom Lee Nichols hit a consolation 106 finish..

       Two 100 finishes from Gary Wraight & Paul Smith helped new side Centaur Club to their first win in the League, beating the Wizard & Witches 9-0 in the B Division..     Pease Pottage FC are the surprise side this season, when beating BBC  7-2 to top the Division with two wins, Paymasters beat the Blocbusters 5-4, with Michael Barber in good form, hitting a fine 111 checkout.    In the final match, the Rugby Club grabbed their second win by beating the Imperial 5-4….

Week 1; 21st Oct

    Three Bridge’s Dave Wragg [pictured]  struck the first maximum of the  season, as his newly promoted side Three Bridges A took on the former Premier Division Champions Pelhams.   But his team mates found it hard going, eventually going down 9-0, Sussex player Dan Grimmett knocked in a 180 for the winners..

    The Charcoal Burner started their defence of their crown, with a 8-1 thrashing of Longley C.    Three maximums were posted during the game, one each for the Burners Nick Edwards & David Mansell, while Mick Scudder replied with one for Longley’s, but the highlite of the night was the fine 151 checkout from the Burners Ken Sowerby..      The Con Club A started with a win, beating RS Bumbles narrowly5-4..

    The Conservative Club got off to a flyer by thumping the Enerald Rebels 8-1 in the A Division, while a fine  120 finish from Colin McDonagh helped the Rebels to a 6-3 win over the Bridges..    In another 6-3 scoreline, Guns & Roses beat APV,  and in the final divisional game, the Dingles edged out their stable mates Labour Blasters 5-4..

     New side BBC started well in the B Division with a 7-2 victory over the Wizard & Witches [formaly Heathy Farmers], but the other new sides fared differently, the Centaur Club crashed 6-3 to the Paymasters, while Pease Pottage FC beat the Imperial , also by 6-3.     The Rugby Club started with a win, beating the Blocbusters again by a 6-3 scoreline….
