Five 180′s were hit four by the Diamonds via Phil Smith, Steve Mecrow, Richard Dixon and Martin Burchell [pictured], while Dan Bradford replied with one for the Pelhams, and team mate Carl Crimmett struck a fine 153 finish, but their efforts proved not enough for the Pelhams, as they lost out 6-3…
Charcoal Burner took advantage of the top two clashing, to move above them in the table, by beating Three Bridges A 8-1, with Richard Stanford hitting a maximum for the reigning Champions… RS Bumbles edged out Longley C 5-4 in the battle of the bottom two, the Bee’s Ant Morley’s 109 checkout proving to be the sole highlite during the game..
Rebels & the Conservative Club are level on points at the top of the A Division, after both sides completed good 6-3 victories over the Emerald Rebels, and Labour Blasters respectably.. Despite young Tommy Sykes 180, and Ty Cowards 105 checkout for the Blasters, and maximums from Mal Richardson & Paul Woods for the Emerald Rebels, they couldn’t save their sides from defeat..
APV, helped by a Mark Fluck 180, beat their stablemates Dingles 5-4, while Mark Harwoods maximum, helped Guns & Roses to a 7-2 win over Bridges.
The top two in the B Division, have opened up a comfortable lead over third placed Rugby Club, after posting comfortable victories. Leaders Pease Pottage FC trounced the Wizard & Witches 8-1, while the Centaur Club hit the Imperial for seven, winning 7-2…
