       Both the Charcoal Burner, and the Pelhams took advantage of the Diamonds bye, to move above them in the Premier Division table as the League heads for the Christmas/New Year break….

      The Charcoal Burner beat Longley C 8-1, to hold a 2pt lead over the Pelhams who had a disappointing 6-3 win over the bottom side Three Bridges A..     RS Bumbles recent good run came to an end with a 5-4 defeat by the Con Club A, with maximums for Alex Whiteside & Ant Morley.

     Guns & Roses move top of the A Division, after their second 9-0 whitewashes in succesive games, with APV this weeks victims.  The Rebels drop down to second, after their 6-3 win over the Bridges, another two maximums were hit in this game, through Colin McDonagh [Rebels], and Roly Ratcliffe [Bridges].

      Ty Coward [pictured] posted a 180 for the Labour Blasters, but it proved to be all in vain, as the Dingles bounced back from the previous weeks defeat, to snatch a fine 5-4 win over their stablemates, young Owen Grantham hit a maximum for the winners.     The Conservative Club, keep up the pressure on the top two, by beating bottom side Emerald Rebels 6-3..

      The top two in the B Division, both posted good wins, with the leaders Pease Pottage FC beating near neighbours Imperial 8-1, while the Centaur Club cruised over the Paymasters 7-2..     Despite Alan White’s 180, and Tony Hodder’s 130 finish, the Rugby Club suffered a 6-3 defeat at the hands of the inform Blocbusters.    The bottom two sides clashed, with victory going to the BBC 7-2, leaving the Wizard & Witches still trying to conjurer up a victory…

Week 7: 9th December 2011

      Premier Division leaders Diamonds found it tough going when facing the Con Club A side at Three Bridges FC.    Diamond’s Phil Smith continued his early season good form with his third maximum, and along with Paul Trivass’s 103 finish just edged out the Blues 5-4,  veteran Tommy Lewis [pictured] turned back the clock by hitting his first 180 of the campaign, as some consolation for his sides brave effort..

     The Charcoal Burner drop back into second spot following their bye, while Pelhams stay third after seeing off Longley C 8-1, Neil Smith’s 110 checkout being the sole highlite..    RS Bumbles made it  back to back victories, when defeating the bottom side Three Bridges A 7-2 to move clear  of the bottom two.   Andy Gurr and Tony Arnold both notched maximums, while Mike Morley struck a 116 finish, all for the Bee’s…

     The Rebels continue to dominate the A Division, with their sixth straight win, when defeating APV 6-3,  while a 108 finish from Guns & Roses Chris Goodband helped his side whitewash Emerald Rebels 9-0, to close the gap between them and the Rebels at the top…

     Glenn Relph hit a 180, and Mick Dixon struck a 100 checkout, to help the Conservative Club stay third in the table , after thrashing the Dingles 8-1, Mike Kramers 125 shot out proving only scant consolation for the Dingles..  Labour Blasters beat Bridges 7-2 to remain fourth, with Lee Nichols 122, and Mal Terry’s 109 finishes for Bridges not enough to save them from a heavy defeat..

    Pease Pottage FC,  lost their unbeaten record in the B Division, when narrowly going down 5-4 to the Blocbusters, for whom veteran Stan Oram banged home a great 145 finish.  That defeat enabled the Centaur Club to close the gap on them following their 7-2 victory over the Rugby Club.   The Imperial edged out BBC 5-4,  while the Paymasters overcame the Wizard & Witches  6-3 in the final match….

Week 6: 2nd December 2011

      This weeks matches produced some shocks, and a barrage of high finishes as the League nears the Christmas break..

   Kevin Reilly’s great 143 finish for the Charcoal Burner, helped his side to a comfortable 7-2 victory away to the Con Club A, the Burner also welcomed back Lee Gladman, who responded with a 116 checkout.   But despite their good win, they drop down to second, as the unbeaten Diamonds hammered bottom side Three Bridges A 8-1 to go above them in the Premier Division table, with Adam Campbell’s 119 finish produced the sparkle in their win..

    Shock of the night came from the RS Bumbles, who trounced high flying Pelhams 7-2, a win that propels the Bee’s out of the bottom two, for the first time this season,   Pete Crossley’s 129 checkout was scant consolation for the former Champions…

    In the A Division, the Rebels move clear of the chasing pack, after beating Labour Blasters 7-2.    The Guns & Roses go into second despite losing out to the Dingles 5-4.

     Emerald Rebels Gary Kozel struck a brace of 180′s, as the bottom side registered their first win of the season, when defeating APV 5-4,  at the Conservative Club, the hosts crashed 6-3 to the Bridges, despite a 108 finish from Kez Botting…

     The top of the table clash in the B Division, went the way of Pease Pottage FC, as they increased their lead over second placed Centaur Club after a fine 7-2 win.   Young Luke Capper posted a 180 in celebration.

     Rugby Club over powered the Wizard & Witches 8-1 to go third, while further big wins for the Paymasters, and the Imperial helped them move up the table.    Paymasters beat BBC 7-2 with Mick Barbers 103 checkout the highlite, the Imperial surprised the Blocbusters by winning 6-3 at the Imperial….
