      Diamonds clinched the Premier Division title with one week of the season to spare, following their 9-0 demolision of the Three Bridges A,  who will finish bottom, and will be relegated to the A Division.    Richard Dixon & Paul Trivass both shot maximums for the new Champions, while Martin Burchell chipped in with a fine 116 finish.    The reigning Champions, Charcoal Burner ended their season with a 5-4 defeat by the Conservative Club, with 180′s from Mick Clarke, and Darren Cooke being the highlites..    The game between RS Bumbles and the Pelhams was re-arranged for Cup Final week…

       Guns & Roses made giant steps towards winning the A Division, with a 6-3 win over the Dingles, while their nearest challengers Rebels crashed 6-3 to the Labour Blasters, leaving them 3pts adrift in second place.     Bridges also posted a 6-3 victory, when defeating the Conservative Club..    Mick Phelan [pictured] bagged a 180, to help APV beat the Emerald Rebels 5-4, and with that scoreline, both sides will be relegated to the B Division next season, Paul Wood did hit a consolation 180 for the Southgate side..

      Pease Pottage go into the final weeks games with an healthy 6pt lead at the top of the B Division after ending the Centaur Club’s interest by winning 5-4.     Blocbusters are in a strong second place following a 6-3 beating of the Imperial, the Rugby Club comfortably beat the Wizard & Witches 8-1, who retain the wooden spoon.   The Paymasters good run continues with a 7-2 win over BBC

   Lee Gladman

    The Charcoal Burner’s Lee Gladman [pictured], was in superb form at the Burner, as he led them to a emphatic 9-0 drubbing of the bottom side Three Bridges A, Gladman hit a brace of 180′s, plus a fine 105 checkout, while his team mates Ron Clarke and Kevin Reilly also helped themselves to maximums.  Richard Stanford produced a big 156 finish to further pile on the agony on Three Bridges.     Although the Burner were producing the big scores, the Premier Division leaders Diamonds, were quietly moving towards the Championship with a sound 7-2 victory over the Pelhams, who had Dan Grimmett on form, hitting a 180, then checking out on 156, Steve Mecrow shot a modest 100 finish for the Champions elect.      RS Bumbles inflicted the sixteen straight defeat on Longley C, winning 6-3..

     The top two in the A Division both recorded 7-2 victories, leaving them both level at the top of the table, with two games remaining, Guns & Roses lead by hitting more 180′s , after beating Bridges, while the Rebels overpowered the Emerald Rebels..   Dingles also won 7-2 over APV, while the Conservative Club’s bad form continues with a 6-3 defeat by Labour Blasters..

      All the front runners in the B Division conjured up big victories, none bettered the leaders Pease Pottage FC’s 9-0 over the Wizard & Witches, Les Templeman bagged a 103 finish for the Blocbusters, who hammered BBC 8-1.    Paymasters also hit eight against a lack lust Rugby Club, and to round things off, the Centaur Club remain in third place following their 6-3 beating of the Imperial…

      Three more maximums for the Diamonds, as they strenghten their grip on the Premier Division title.  Paul Trivas [his 7th], Martin Burchell and Richard Dixon, being the marksmen, who helped the Diamonds sparkle in a 6-3 win over RS Bumbles, for whom Tony Arnold grabbed a consolationary 180.      Pelham’s Dan Bradford [pictured], went one better, hitting a brace of maximums, Neil Smith also poked home a 180, but all to no avail, as the Charcoal Burner edged the match 5-4, helped by some big finishes from Richard Stanford [140], and Lee Gladman [101]..     Despite Mick Scudder hitting his third 180 of the  season, Longley C went down 6-3 to the Con Club A…

    The Guns & Roses ended the Labour Blasters slim hopes of the A Division title by beating them 6-3, but the Rebels stay in contention with a 5-4 win over the Conservative Club..   Dingles Nigel Martin & Stuart Campbell both banged in maximums to help their side to a 7-2 victory at the Emerald Rebels.    Tommy Walker’s 102 checkout was the highlite for Bridges during their 8-1 thumping of APV..

    B Division leaders Pease Pottage suffered a rare defeat when crashing to the Paymasters 5-4, but still have enough points to remain hot favorites for the title.    The battle between 2nd & 3rd places went in favour of the Blocbusters, who beat the Centaur Club 5-4..    Both the Rugby Club and Imperial handed out big 8-1,and 9-0 defeats to BBC, and the Wizard & Witches respectably..

      Del Furminger

      Phil Smith struck his sixth 180 of the season, to help Premier Division leaders Diamonds stay top, following a 9-0 win over struggling Longley C, while the Charcoal Burner’s Del Furminger [pictured] , along with James Greenfield, both hit maximums to see the Burner to a 6-3 win over RS Bumbles.     Con Club A’s Tommy Lewis was in good form, hitting a 180, and a 116 checkout, during his side’s 9-0 thumping of bottom side Three Bridges A, his team mate Darren Gale also pitched in with a 122 finish…

      A Division front runners, Guns & Roses posted a 6-3 win over the Conservative Club, for whom Bill Boyd recorded his second 180, to remain in top spot.    Rebels also won, but had a tough fight to beat the Dingles 5-4.   Labour Blaster’s Roy Oxlade hit a fine 139 finish, to help the Blasters beat stable-mates APV 7-2, while Bridges Tommy Walker was on target with a maximum, in his sides 7-2 win over the Emerald Rebels..

     All the top three in the B Division notched victories in their latest outing’s.   Leaders Pease Pottage FC edged a thriller with the Rugby Club by 5-4, while the Blocbusters were awarded a 7-0 walkover against the Wizard & Witches.  The Centaur Club overcame BBC 7-2, and in another walkover, the Paymasters were awarded the win against the Imperial 7-0…

      James Greenfield

     Diamonds stole a march on their nearest challengers Charcoal Burner in the Premier Division, by posting a narrow 5-4 victory.  Paul Trivass struck his sixth maximum for Diamonds, while Worthing’s James Greenfield [pictured] replied with one for the Burner, while his team mate Richard Stanford notched a fine 141 finish.    Pelhams overturned the Con Club A, and bottom side Three Bridges A saw off Longley C, helped by a 180 from Mick Scudder…

      Guns & Rose’s, and the Rebels are still neck and neck at the top of the A Division, this week the Roses beat their nearest rivals 6-3 to move 2pts clear , but the Rebels Mick Kirrage did hit a consolation maximum.    Third placed Labour Blasters beat  bottom side Emerald Rebels 7-2, the Conservative Club cruised over APV, also 7-2, and finally the Dingles narrowly beat Bridges 5-4..

    Pease Pottage F.C. remain on course to win the B Division, following their 7-2 beating of the BBC,  while 2nd placed Blocbusters powered past the Paymasters again by a 7-2 scoreline.    The Centaur Club still remain in contention of league honours after thumping the Wizard & Witches 9-0, and in the final game the Imperial went down 5-4 to the Rugby Club…

       Leaders of the Premier Division Diamonds started the final third of the season with a bye, but still hold onto top spot, as their nearest challengers Charcoal Burner could only beat the Longley C  7-2, to leave them 1pt off the pace.    Richard Stanford hit a 180 for the Burner, while Ernie Potter replied with one for Longley’s.    Tommy Lewis [pictured] hit his second maximum in as many weeks, but couldn’t save his side froma 7-2 beating by RS Bumbles.     Pelhams cemented third place by beating Three Bridges A 8-1, helped by 180′s from Dan Bradford & Sam Newman, while Neil Smith chipped in with a fine 116 finish…

      As in the previous week, both the top two in the A Division posted similar scores, Guns & Roses beat APV 7-2, with Dave Mills hitting a maximum, to stay 1pt clear of the Rebels, who beat Bridges , the Rebels Clare Nicholson shot out on 113 in celebration.     The Conservative Club beat bottom side Emerald Rebels 6-3, and in a tight game, Labour Blasters edged out the Dingles 5-4..

      B Division leaders Pease Pottage FC thumped the Imperial 8-1, to extend their lead over the Blocbusters, who struggled to beat the Rugby Club 5-4, for whom Alan White hit a maximum, and Dave Wilson had a 120 out shot.   The Centaur Club stay third, following their 6-3 win over the Paymasters, and the BBC grabbed a rare victory, when defeating the Wizard & Witches 8-1…

        Paul Trivass

      Diamonds Paul Trivass, shot to the top of the 180′s table with a hat trick of maximums during his sides 7-2 beating of the Con Club A, making it six for the season.     The match was a high scoring encounter, with no fewer than six 180′s scored as well as some big checkouts.   Phil Smith, Darren Gale and Tommy Lewis added to Trivass’s  180 count, while  Mick Clarke hit a 118 finish, and Trivass added a 102 finish.  This win moves the Diamonds above the Charcoal Burner who had a bye, in the race for the Premier Division title.

     Pelhams beat Longley C 6-3, to move back into the top three, despite Ernie Potter hitting a maximum for the Buiders.     Three Bridges A’s Lee Wragg hit his first ever maximum,, but couldn’t stop his side from crashing 7-2 to RS Bumbles…

     Just a point seperate the top two in the A Division, as both sides posted 8-1 wins, the leaders Guns & Roses beat the Emerald Rebels, helped by Paul Comper’s second 180 of the season, while the Rebels powered past APV, with Mick Kirrage and Clare Nicholson on target with 114 & 111 finishes respectably..     Labour Blasters recent good form continues, when defeating Bridges 6-3, Roy Oxlade, and Mal Terry both hit maximums during the game, while Tommy Walker nipped in with a 101 checkout.    The Conservative Club, got back to winning ways, with a hard fought 5-4 victory over the Dingles…

    Pease Pottage FC  edged the top of the table clash in the B Division, by beating the Blocbusters 5-4, while third played fourth when the Centaur Club met the Rugby Club, again ending with another narrow 5-4 win for the Centaur Club, so no change at the top.     The Imperial & BBC also played out a 5-4 scoreline, with victory going to the Broadfield outfit, while in the final match Paymasters heaped more misery on the Wizard & Witches, with a 8-1 whipping…

    Kevin Reilly

    After a spate of defeats, the Pelhams put a dent in Diamonds Premier Division Championship ambitions with a surprise 5-4 victory, they also notched a treble of 180′s through Neil Smith, Carl Grimmett, and Gary Newman, with last weeks hero Dan Grimmett shooting a 116 finish, while Diamonds only notable effort was a 106 checkout from the inform Paul Trivass.

     Another player in good form was the Charcoal Burner’s Kevin Reilly [pictured],  he hit a maximum, then followed that up with a great 156 checkout, to help keep the Burner top after their 7-2 beating of bottom side Three Bridges A,  two more big finishes were also struck, Burners Richard Stanford hit a 110, while Jim Brooker had a 119 for Bridges.     Ant Morley posted his third 180 of the season, to help RS Bumbles sting  Longley C 5-4…

     Ron Elms shot a fine 111 finish to help the Rebels stay in the pole position in the A Division, with a 8-1 thumping of the Emerald Rebels . Second placed Guns & Roses beat Bridges 6-3, while the Conservative Club suffered there third consequitive defeat when going down 6-3 to the in form Labour Blasters.    At the Labour Club, Dingles scrapped home 5-4 against APV…

    Pease Pottage Captain Jamie Brown banged in a 180, which spurred on his team mates to whitewash the Wizard and Witches 9-0, a win that extends their lead at the top of the B Division.   The Centaur Club, and the Blocbusters are both battling it out for the runner up spot after recording big victories, the Centaur Club beat the Imperial 8-1, while the Blocbusters beat BBC 9-0.     Paymasters touched down, with a good 6-3 win over the Rugby Club…

        Dan Grimmett

     Sussex B player Dan Grimmett took the player of the week award for his hat trick of 180′s for the Pelhams, but alass his great effort couldn’t spur on his side, as they crashed 8-1 to the Premier Division leaders Charcoal Burner, for whom Lee Gladman posted a maximum, while Grimmett’s team mate Dan Bradford also hit the magic 180.       Phil Smith & Paul Trivass both notched maximums during Diamonds 7-2 beating of RS Bumbles, while Tony Arnold responded with one for the Bee’s, and Simon Gurr hit a fine 119 outshot.   Best win of the week came for the Con Club A, who powered home 9-0 against Longley C,  Alex Whiteside grabbed another 180 for the Blues, with team mate Mick Clarke striking a 121 checkout.

     Rebels Dave Parker shot a maximum to help send his side top of the A Division following their 8-1 thumping of the Conservative Club, while the previous leaders Guns & Roses  slumped to a 5-4 defeat by the Labour Blasters, the Rosres Dave Mills posted a 110 checkout all to no avail.  Tommy Walker was on target for Bridges with a 118 finish, to help his side to a 6-3 victory, but the Emerald Rebels losing run continues with a 5-4 defeat by the Dingles…

     Pease Pottage struggled to a 5-4 win over the Paymasters, but stay top,  as the Centaur Club were beaten 7-2 by the fast rising Blocbusters.   BBC’s Ian Moorey shot a 180, but couldn’t stop his side from a 7-2 beating at the Rugby Club.    The Imperial grabbed a much needed victory when inflicting a 6-3 defeat on the Wizard & Witches..
